Riedels

After more than 13 years, Michael Riedel is ending his collaboration with his New York gallery and publishing his email correspondence from 2004–2017—saved as .emlx files—in the form of banknotes. The 43 resulting graphics, printed in standard 5 to 500-euro formats in editions of 10,000 notes each on original bank-note paper, show the correspondence whose ultimate motivation was the sale of artworks.
 
His novel "Abstract" is the summary of this long-standing exchange—featuring 43 illustrations of Riedel's total of 45 million.
